Ludhiana, December 24, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): The Birth of Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated in Spring Dale Sr. Sec. Public School in a gala way. The day started with carols in the morning assembly and a speech was read highlighting the importance of Christmas. The students of class K1 to K3 came dressed as Santa Claus and Fairies. A huge Christmas tree was decorated by the students and the birth scene of Jesus was also depicted.

Ludhiana, December 21, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): The day started with the singing of Christmas Carols and holy choirs today at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. An overflow of enthusiasm, mirth and joy was witnessed all around. Tiny tots looked charming and fresh clad in the costumes of Santa, angels, fairies. During celebrations the students presented dance performance and staged the vistas of the birth of Jesus Christ. The whole school was festooned in the festive colours of Christmas. Everybody swayed and waved along the tunes of ‘Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell’, and ‘O Jesus’.

Ludhiana, November 26, 2015 (Rajinder Ahuja): Ashok Leyland, flagship of the Hinduja Group, signed a contract with the government of Cote D’Ivoire for 3600 vehicles worth $200Mn. This contract is being funded by EXIM Bank of India and is pending final clearance from respective governments. The vehicles, which include trucks and buses, will be delivered over the next 12 months.
