Students during celebration of International Nurses Day by Spring Dale

Ludhiana, May 13, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): Dedicated to the Birth Anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the International Nurses Day was celebrated in Spring Dale Sr. Sec. Public School. The day is celebrated every year to highlight the importance of nurse’s role in providing the best care services.

A lecture was delivered in the Morning Assembly about the significance of the day. Thereafter the students were educated about the contribution and commitments of the nurses towards the general public and their unconditional noble service to mankind.

The Managing Director Avinash Kaur Walia supported the day as the one to celebrate and commemorate the significant role of the nurses in taking care of the patients. She also added that ‘Nursing’ is the noblest profession and a nurse treats patients not only physically, psychologically and socially.

The Director Mandeep Singh, Deputy Director Amita Mittal and Principal Kamalpreet Kaur were also a part and parcel of the celebrations.
