Amitabh Bachchan and Amruta Fadnavis during launch of music video

Mumbai, June 01, 2017 (Online News India): In the presence of media, T-Series launched the new music video of Amruta Fadnavis ‘Phir Se’ sung by her, directed by Ahmed Khan, composed by Jeet Gannguli, written by Rashmi Virag and arranged by Abhijit Vaghani. Amitabh Bachchan who features in the video was present at the launch event with T-Series CMD Bhushan Kumar, Jeet Gannguli, Rashmi Virag, Ahmed Khan and Abhijit Vaghani.

The song that talks about dreams and how the lead character’s dream is fulfilled as all one needs to do is believe in them.

Shot in the beautiful Opera House Mumbai, Amitabh had tweeted about the song in late 2016 where Amruta Fadnavis’ character will be seen seeking admission in a performing arts institute headed by Amitabh Bachchan's character. Amruta Fadnavis has already sung for Kunal Kohli’s Phir Se and Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangajal but this is the first time she will face the camera for her song.

Speaking about her on screen debut, Amruta says, "There are many firsts for me in 'PHIR SE' as this is the first time I have sung a light song, it's my first video, my first with Amitabh Bachchan ji.”

Telling us about her experience working with Big B she said, "I was very confident about shooting a video but was very hesitant and nervous shooting with the legend Amit ji as I have a lot of respect for him. But shooting a few shots with him, he made me so comfortable. He is a very humble human being and makes the other person so comfortable.”

Summing up her experience working on video she said, "It was a beautiful experience. Ahmed Khan is stupendous in his craft and I am so happy that one of the most talented composers Jeet Ganguli has composed this song. And I must say that Bhushan Kumar is one of the best producers to work with."

Amitabh Bachchan who was present at the event adds, “I readily agreed to be a part of the album ‘Phir Se’, not just because Amruta ji is the wife of the Hon. CM of Maharashtra, but because she is a woman, a lady. To me her independent will and desire to pursue her ambition, was the driving force. The results of the participation are here to see. It has been a wonderful experience."
