CM announces Rs. 2 crore for fire victims of Kotla village
Kullu, November 18, 2015 (News Team): Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today visited the Kotla village in Banjar assembly segment of district Kullu which was razed to the ground due to devastating fire on late Sunday night. He met the affected families who lost everything in the fire and announced a sum of rupees two crore for construction of houses. This amount also includes Rs. 50 lakh for renovation of the temples of the local deities. He assured of all possible assistance in the future as well and exhorted the people to renovate the temples in the ancient hill architecture.
International Dussehra Festival begins with fanfare and enthusiasm
Kullu, October 22, 2015 (News Team): The week-long international Dussehra Festival commenced with traditional fervour and enthusiasm at Kullu today. Acharya Devvrat Governor inaugurated the festival by participating in the Rath yatra of Lord Raghunath ji at Dhalpur ground in Kullu.
Connecting most interior areas with roads top priority - CM
Kullu, May 16, 2015 (Online News Ind): Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said government was giving added priority to construct roads and open educational and health institutions in the most interior areas like Dodra-Kwar, Kashapath. Pangi, Bara Bhangal etc. to ensure speedy development of these areas at par with other areas of the State.
