Mumbai, October 11, 2015 (Akash Sharma): Following the immense popularity and phenomenal success of the first season of its acting-based talent hunt show for kids - ’India’s Best Dramebaaz' that aired in 2013, Zee TV announces auditions for the second season of the show.

The show is a complete family entertainer as the camaraderie between the judges, host and kids presents a fun-filled atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. While the first season unearthed some exceptionally talented kids like Nihar, Pranit, Mehnaaz, Aditya Singhal amongst others, this year, the search for India's youngest and most talented entertainers only gets bigger and better. So, audiences can get set for some electrifying performances from an all-new set of powerhouse performers who will bring the house down with their awe inspiring talent.

To encourage the talented kids of Chandigarh to come and audition, Mehnaaz Mann, a finalist of India’s Best Dramebaaz Season 1 said, “India’s Best Dramebaaz is the biggest and in fact, the only platform on Indian television for talented children to showcase their acting skills. The show has given me so much, I was fortunate to be a part of its first season and I made it all the way to its finale. This platform has put me in touch with stalwarts of the industry like Anurag Basu, Sonali Bendre and Vivek Oberoi apart from so many film celebrities that visited the sets and encouraged us each week. It taught me the real meaning of acting and made me understand the finer nuances of appearing effortless and natural while performing, understanding camera angles, lights and so many technical aspects that make you a well-rounded actor. I miss the stage, the performances, the judges and my mentors a lot. For me, India’s Best Dramebaaz was a home away from home, as I made some very special friends there. The atmosphere was always relaxed, yet encouraged our creativity. Being on the show was the best time of my life and a turning point. I’m here, today, to request all the talented kids of Chandigarh to come forward and enthusiastically participate in the auditions.”

The talent hunt show will put children in the age range of 5-13 years through a series of tasks and challenges that will groom them as actors and test their creativity, spontaneity and acting capabilities. Zee TV is all set to begin its countrywide search for the 16 brightest, spunkiest, most mischievous and talented kids from across the country. In the coming days, Zee TV's talent scouts will conduct auditions in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Bangalore and Dehradun. The short-listed contestants will undergo comprehensive workshops that will hone their acting talent, explore and further develop allied talents like singing and dancing. The best of the lot will win an opportunity to present acts at the mega auditions in Mumbai and possibly win a spot in the competition.

So it's time to make way for the exceptionally talented kids as they arrive to sweep you off the floor with their acting prowess. India's Best Dramebaaz season 2 will soon air on Zee TV.
