Karan Johar as a speaker on TED Talks India Nayi Soch

Ludhiana, December 20, 2017 (Tarkeshwar Sharma): As little kids, we all must have had multiple career plans until we finally decided to work towards that one favorite interest. Just like any other kid, Karan Johar, too, had multiple plans. And here’s the list!

Karan Johar best known for creating blockbusters like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gum, revealed his list of professions he wished to pursue from the age of 4 on the stage of TED Talks India Nayi Soch in a personal handwritten letter to his kids, Yash and Roohi. He said, “At the age of 4 I wanted to become a ‘hair stylist’, at 10 I wanted to become a ‘dancer’, at 15 I wished to take up ‘copy writing’, at 18 , a ‘fashion designer’ and eventually at the age of 20 I decided I wanted to become a ‘filmmaker’.”

On sharing his list, he added, “My dad was very supportive of me despite my varied interests and that surprised me.”

Had KJo never taken up filmmaking, which of the other avatar would we seen him in? Well, keep guessing!
