Chandigarh, May 02, 2015 (News Team): “India needs at least 55 million additional jobs by 2015 to maintain the current ratio of employed people” this was stated by Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria while inaugurating 27th Aryans Job Fest. He further said that as per the CRISIL report this high number is required to maintain the current ratio of employed people to total population at 39 percent. The Job Fest was held today at Aryans Campus.

Today 50 girls of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9 participated in a ‘Garbage Run’, in which to make them understand issues of waste management and garbage generation they were taken to meet door to door waste collectors, rag-pickers, scrap dealers and to see the dumping ground.

It was announced today at the Chandigarh Press Club. 'The Story of a Story' is a short film directed by Jasraj Singh Bhatti and written by arguably India's top social satirist and Padma Bhushan award winner Jaspal Bhatti. The film has been created by region's leading film and acting training school 'Mad Arts', founded by Jaspal Bhatti himself and has both student actors and technicians involved in the project.

Chandigarh, March 11, 2015 (News Team): A 52 member international delegation from a total of 25 countries visited CII-Avantha Centre for Competitiveness for SMEs to learn about its various activities in the realm of SME competitiveness, leadership and entrepreneurship.

The delegation was divided in two focus areas which were Innovative Leadership for Organization Growth and Excellence (ILOGE) and Entrepreneurship for Small Business Trainers/Promoters (ESB-TP), led by NIESBUD. They are engaged in the area of developing leaders and inculcating entrepreneurial culture in the society. The main objective of the programme was to develop them as professional innovative leaders.
